INITIAL SETUP (SEE OWNERS MANUAL FOR FULL DETAILS AND DIAGRAMS)
Setup consists of unfolding the handlebar, installing the discharge chute, connecting the two batteries,
installing the discharge chute crank, installing the remote deflector cable, charging the batteries,
checking the function of the dual handle interlock, checking the tire pressure, checking the auger gear
case oil, and checking the function of all controls and the run-in attachment belt.
When connecting the two batteries, make sure that the connectors are fully seated and locked in
place. In addition to battery protection, the battery cover acts as the hold-down for the batteries. Do not
operate the unit without the cover securely installed with all hardware.
The batteries must be charged for a minimum of 7 hours before the first use. Again, the batteries must
be hooked up to the charger after every use, regardless of the length of time the unit was operated.
Failure to keep batteries fully charged will reduce battery life and void battery warranty.
