Esta garantía se aplica únicamente a cortacésped de empuje manual de 21 pulgadas,

plataformas de gran anchura, plataformas de gran anchura serie AMP, cultivadoras,

recortadoras de cadena, partidoras de troncos, bordeadoras y escobillas eléctricas

Ariens Company (Ariens) garantiza al comprador original que los productos comerciales de la marca

Ariens y Gravely fabricados y vendidos por Ariens se hallarán libres de defectos en materiales y fabricación

por un periodo de dos años a partir de la fecha de compra. Un concesionario autorizado Ariens (productos

de la marca Ariens) o Gravely (productos de la marca Gravely) reparará cualquier defecto en los materiales

o en la fabricación, y reparará o sustituirá cualquier pieza defectuosa, sujeto a las condiciones, limitaciones

y exclusiones expuestas en la presente garantía. Dicha reparación o sustitución se hará sin cargo alguno

(mano de obra y piezas) al comprador original, excepto en los casos indicados más adelante.

Garantía limitada de dos años sobre bloques de baterías Serie AMP™ y subconjuntos

El bloque de baterías y/o los subconjuntos de cortacésped con operador sentado serie AMP están

garantizados al comprador original durante un periodo de dos años a contar desde la fecha de compra.

Ariens sustituirá, sin cargo alguno para el comprador original, cualquier bloque de baterías y/o subconjunto

que presente algún fallo por defectos en materiales o fabricación durante un año a contar desde la fecha

de compra. Durante los 12 meses siguientes, Ariens asumirá el coste prorrateado generado por la

sustitución de un bloque de batería y/o subconjunto que presente algún fallo por defecto de materiales

o de fabricación. Esta garantía no se aplica a bloques de batería o subconjuntos que fallen debido

a accidente, negligencia, abuso, mantenimiento inadecuado, almacenamiento inadecuado u operaciones

de carga inadecuadas.

Garantía limitada de un año sobre cortacésped profesionales/comerciales de empuje

manual de 21 pulgadas

Se garantiza al comprador original que los cortacésped de empuje manual de 21 pulgadas etiquetados

o designados por Ariens como productos profesionales/comerciales para uso profesional, agrícola,

comercial o industrial se hallarán libres de defectos de material y de fabricación durante un periodo

de un año a partir de la fecha de compra.

Garantía limitada de 90 días sobre piezas de servicio y accesorios

Se garantiza que las piezas de servicio originales y accesorios de marca Ariens o Gravely están libres

de defectos en material y mano de obra durante un periodo de 90 días a contar desde la fecha de compra.

Un distribuidor autorizado Ariens o Gravely reparará o sustituirá cualquier pieza o accesorios en estos

casos sin cargo alguno, excepto mano de obra, durante dicho periodo.

Excepto para cortacésped de empuje manual de 21 pulgadas etiquetados o designados por Ariens como

producto profesional/comercial, la duración de todas las garantías estipuladas se aplica únicamente si se

da al producto un uso personal en un hogar o residencia. Si se usa el producto para fines profesionales,

agrícolas, comerciales o industriales, la duración de estas garantías será de 90 días a partir de la fecha

de compra. Si se arrienda o se alquila un producto, la duración de estas garantías será de 90 días a partir

de la fecha de compra.

Excepciones, limitaciones, exclusiones

Responsabilidades de los clientes

Registre el producto inmediatamente en el momento de la venta. Si el distribuidor no registra el producto,

el cliente debe rellenar la tarjeta de registro del aparato y devolverla a Ariens Company, o deberá registrarse

online en www.ariens.com o www.gravely.com.

Para conseguir un servicio bajo garantía, el comprador original debe:

• Llevar a cabo el mantenimiento y ajustes menores según el manual del propietario.

• Notificar puntualmente a Ariens o a un representante de servicio autorizado de Ariens o Gravely de la

necesidad de reparación bajo garantía.

• Transportar del producto a y desde el lugar de reparación cubierto por la garantía.

• Las reparaciones bajo garantía deben ser realizadas por un representante de servicio Ariens o Gravely.

• Do not operate the machine while under

the inﬂ uence of alcohol or drugs.

• Never operate machine in wet grass.

Always be sure of your footing: keep a

ﬁ rm hold on the handle; walk, never run.

• Disengage the self-propelled mech-

a nism or drive clutch on mowers so

equipped before starting the engine.

• If the equipment should start to vi brate

abnormally, stop the engine (motor) and

check immediately for the cause. Vibra-

tion is generally a warning of trouble.

• Always wear safety goggles or safe ty

glasses with side shields when op er at ing

mower.

II. SLOPE OPERATION

Slopes are a major factor related to slip &

fall accidents which can result in severe

injury. All slopes require extra caution. If

you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it.

DO:

• Mow across the face of slopes: nev er

up and down. Exercise extreme caution

when changing direction on slopes.

• Remove obstacles such as rocks, tree

limbs, etc.

• Watch for holes, ruts, or bumps. Tall

grass can hide obstacles.

DO NOT:

• Do not trim near drop-offs, ditches or

embankments. The operator could lose

footing or balance.

• Do not trim excessively steep slopes.

• Do not mow on wet grass. Reduced

footing could cause slipping.

III. CHILDREN

Tragic accidents can occur if the op er a tor

is not alert to the presence of children.

Children are often attracted to the ma chine

and the mowing activity. Never assume

that children will remain where you last

saw them.

• Keep children out of the trimming area

and under the watchful care of an oth er

re spon si ble adult.

• Be alert and turn machine off if chil dren

enter the area.

• Before and while walking back wards,

look behind and down for small chil dren.

• Never allow children to operate the

machine.

• Use extra care when approaching blind

corners, shrubs, trees, or other objects

that may obscure vision.

IV. SAFE HANDLING OF GASOLINE

Use extreme care in handling gasoline.

Gasoline is extremely ﬂ ammable and the

vapors are explosive.

• Extinguish all cigarettes, cigars, pipes

and other sources of ignition.

• Use only an approved container.

• Never remove gas cap or add fuel with

the engine running. Allow engine to cool

before refueling.

• Never refuel the machine indoors.

• Never store the machine or fuel contain-

er where there is an open ﬂ ame, spark

or pilot light such as a water heater or

on other appliances.

• Never ﬁ ll containers inside a vehicle, on

a truck or trailer bed with a plastic liner.

Always place containers on the ground

away from your vehicle before ﬁ lling.

• Remove gas-powered equipment from

the truck or trailer and refuel it on the

ground. If this is not possible, then

refuel such equipment with a portable

container, rather than from a gasoline

dispenser nozzle.

• Keep the nozzle in contact with the rim

of the fuel tank or container opening at

all times until fueling is complete. Do

not use a nozzle lock-open device.

• If fuel is spilled on clothing, change

clothing immediately.

• Never overﬁ ll fuel tank. Replace gas

cap and tighten securely.

V. GENERAL SERVICE

• Never run a machine inside a closed

area.

• Never make adjustments or repairs with

the engine (motor) running. Dis con nect

the spark plug wire, and keep the wire

away from the plug to prevent ac ci den tal

starting.

• Keep nuts and bolts, especially blade

attachment bolts, tight and keep equip-

ment in good condition.

• Never tamper with safety devices.

Check their proper operation reg u lar ly.

• Keep machine free of grass, leaves, or

other debris build-up. Clean oil or fuel

spillage. Allow machine to cool before

storing.

• Stop and inspect the equipment if you

strike an object. Repair, if nec es sary,

before restarting.

• Never attempt to make wheel height

adjustments while the engine is running.
