The following procedure should be followed when any work is being done that involves removing the 2800

transaxles. This procedure is to not put stress on the transaxle castings during installation:

1. Loosely mount transaxles to the frame using the normal hardware that holds each transaxle to the frame.

Note: DO NOT torque hardware at this time. The transaxles should move freely at this point.

2. Add the cross brace tube and mounting hardware that goes between the transaxles and tighten.

3. Torque the hardware holding the transaxles to the frame.
